What has been remarkable about the Baitmaker's Studio and the future B5 Custom Tackle's "Custom Bait Box" project to locate and partner with new custom baitmakers and apply all we have learned outside to the fishing segment to marketing custom baits and custom baitmaker brands is uncovering the artistry that exists in the baitmaker community today.

For so long all of us as anglers have been forced down those cluttered aisles of big box stores in search of that perfect bait that we can have in our tackle arsenals but now as we have all come to know we no longer need to make that walk if we do not want to. We can explore all kinds of baits from the comfort of our home or lets be honest from our offices when the boss is not looking as we plan our next fishing adventure.

The baitmaker community is full of not only incredible people but frankly baits that only last longer than the big brands but more times than not outperform those brands. Because the custom community is not bound by the same cumbersome processes as big brands, baitmakers can quickly bring on line small batch runs for anglers seeking something very different or desiring something very custom for themselves that just is not available at stores today.

Below are some of the innovating design elements and color schemes being incorporated into custom baits by Underground. Bryce does really great designs that all have a quality clear coat to them that makes baits really interact with the water column and the light from sun really well.
